3) What you need at pick-up
i) Forms of Identification:
A Passport or ID is required.
ii) License Requirements:
When picking the car up, the main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a valid, original car driving license in their name.
Accepted Driving licenses:
a) All original, valid driving licenses
from countries of the European Union (EU) are accepted.

c) For all others an International Driver’s license is required
(which is very easy and simple to issue online in short time).
Up on your pick up you have to show both of the Country’s driving license
and the International car license(in original form not in scan or photocopy).
If your country does not issue an International license, you have to bring a certificate translation
of your County’s car driving license in English or Greek together with your driving license to be able to drive.
Photocopies or scans of license are not accepted.
Driver/s should hold a driving license for at least two (2) years to be able to drive.
If you are not sure if your driving license is ok,
before booking please contact us through email or telephone for more information
(it is preferred also to send a photo by email of your license both sides to be checked).
4) Age Requirements
Minimum age limit for car is 25.
Maximum age limit for car is 75.
If you are out of these limits please contact us before booking through mail or telephone for more information.
The car hire company’s age-related charges and restrictions will apply to all additional drivers.
5) Responsibility
Renter/s and driver/s are responsible for all toll fees, congestion charges, speeding tickets, parking fines & traffic fines – and all associated administration costs.
6) Arrival Details
Flight Details – If you are arriving by plane, on the reservation form is a specific box to enter your flight arrival number. If you do not have a flight number at the time of the reservation, you must inform us at least two (2) days before your rental is due to start. If you do not, we cannot be held responsible if your plane is delayed and as a result your car is not available or our staff is delayed. Please ensure that you enter your flight number and not any other number the airline may have sent you, such as a confirmation number. At the airport our staff will be waiting for you outside the area you pick up your luggage with a sign in hands with our brand name ‘Sunrise car rental’ and maybe your name also.
For delivery at (New) domestic-Cruise Port of Corfu your car will be at our head office (SUNRISE).
For delivery at hotels, villas and apartments our staff will be waiting for you at the reception of your stay. Please don’t forget to include the name and area of your stay (coordinates are also welcome) on the reservation form. For any other pick up/ drop off spot please let us know all the necessary details.

7) General
i) Car bookings:
Bookings are made by car category and not by car model.
ii) Payment Methods:
Cash money and all credit, debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Discover, Union Pay and Diners) are accepted.
iii)Fuel Policy
Our company’s policy is simple, the level of tank you get the car the same level you have to bring it back.
iv) Additional Drivers
2nd driver is free of charge. The cost to add an additional driver is 3,00 € including tax, per day.
The car hire company’s age-related charges and restrictions will apply to all additional drivers.
v)Car Seats
Free and available upon request. Baby seat for ages 0-3 years old and booster seat for ages 3-6 years old about, depending on height and weight. We will arrange to help you to fit the car seat correctly, but it’s always your responsibility to check the seat is fitted correctly before you drive away. If you are not sure which one you have to choose please contact us before booking through mail or telephone for more information. On reservation form you can add as comment the details of your baby/child (height and weight).
Baby/child seat (0-18 kg), Age 0 – 3,5
Booster seat (18-36 kg), Age 3,5 – 6
vi) Internet, online system bookings:
All internet online bookings must be done at least 36 hours before your pick up date and time.
Otherwise you have to call our head office at 00302661044325 for confirmation.
vii) Change location
If you plan to pick up or drop off the car in a different location than the original agreed one, the car hire company may
charge a fee to cover the cost. Prior notification is required and confirmed.
viii) Outside Office Hours
If you require the car to be available outside of normal office hours (08:00-22:00), whether for the pick-up or the drop-off,
we will arrange for a member of staff to be available. Prior notification is required for this service and it will incur a fee to
cover additional man hours. The cost of this service is 15,00 €.
ix) Taxes & Fees
All local Vat and taxes are included.
Any additional services will be subject to any applicable sales taxes and location fees.
x)Smoking and animals:
Smoking and animals/pets are not allowed in the rental car.
8) Renter’s Important Information
To make sure you understand the rules and laws about driving hire cars, it’s essential you read the Terms & Conditions in full before you leave to pick your car up.
In particular, please make sure you know what documents and other paperwork you must take with you (e.g. driving license, forms of identification) and what you’ll need to pay for the car hire.
By making this booking, you are confirming that you have read and accept our Terms & Conditions.
When you pick your car up, you have to sign a rental agreement (contract). Please make sure you read it carefully – and if anything is not clear, discuss it before you sign. In some exceptional cases a credit card can be required.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your rental, it’s very important you discuss this at the time.

9) Car Hire Company Important Information
i) Seatbelt : Whatever country you’re driving in, driver and passengers must wear seatbelts if fitted, wherever they’re sitting in the car.
ii) Been Late returning the car: When you don’t return the vehicle at the stated time on the contract we will give you one hour’s grace. After this a full day’s rental will be charged.
iii)Car Availability: At pick-up, the customer may choose to take a different car, rather than the one reserved for them.
If they do, they may be charged an additional premium, even if the new car is smaller than their original choice.
iv) Company’s Availability: Car models are according to original planning. Cars in categories can be changed with similar cars from the same or bigger category.
v) Accident or Breakdown – In the event of a breakdown, accident or mechanical difficulties, you must call us immediately. We must give authority for repairs or replacement cars. Please keep copies of all documentation you are asked to complete. This may be needed if you wish to make a claim. For accidents, a police report and an incident report from the car hire counter will be required.

vi) Please be aware that all cars have a non-smoking policy. Fines will apply if this policy is not adhered to.
vii)Price Calculation – Prices are based on the pick-up and drop-off times, places and dates that you agree before your rental starts. If you pick the car up any later or bring it back any earlier, you will not receive a refund for unused time.
10) Cancellations, No Shows & Amendments
i) Cancellations
By e-mail or telephone any time before your pick up with no charge.
ii) No-Show
A ‘No-show’ is when you:
• wish to cancel but don’t tell us before your rental is due to start, or
• fail to pick the car up at the arranged time and date, or
• fail to provide the documentation that’s required to pick the car up
iii) Amendments
You can amend your rental by email, free of charge, at any point before your rental is due to start. Certain amendments could affect the rental price, such as location, car group or time or date of rental, if it does you will be charged at the current published price, which may be different from what you originally paid.
Please call us if your pick-up time is less than 48 hours away and you wish to amend your booking.
11) Transactions
Transactions are made in Euro. Please note that we are not able to make any transaction in any other currency except if it’s agreed with our representative in advance.
